The wonder of a flowering branch
seems motionless in boredom.
I approach and observe it.
The footsteps
of busy ants.
To and fro,
always the same.
The leaf acrobatics of a solitary bumblebee.
The pollinated calyx amplifies
the multitude of the buzzing bee.
That flowering branch
which appears to capture the enchantment of boredom
I observe it and reconsider.
It is life’s ancient ballad to joy.
